On Tuesday, Togo welcomed Comoros for the second leg of 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers-Preliminaries. In the first leg, Comores tied Togo 1:1. For the home game, Togo came out more positive and re-energized. Compare to the first leg, Togo took an early lead on the 10th minute after Comores defender sent a ball into his own goals. However, Togo was not done and pushed Comoros National team for the whole 90 minutes. As a matter of fact, Togo were rewarded with goal on the 70th minute when Gilles Sunu sends the ball in the lower corner after the rebound on the earlier shot.
To be fair, Comoros had some beautiful chances to score, but could not capitalize on their attempts.
